About the owner
I started Heart of Wisconsin Home Watch LLC because I know, from both professional and personal experience, how important it is to have someone you can trust keeping an eye on your home when you’re away.
After more than 23 years in law enforcement and 8 years teaching criminal justice, I wanted to stay active and continue serving my community in a meaningful way. I’ve seen firsthand how much peace of mind a reliable check-in can bring — and how quickly things can go wrong when no one’s watching.
As a long-time property owner in the Lake Arbutus area, I’ve driven up after severe storms more times than I can count, just to make sure everything was okay. Cameras only show so much — they can’t tell you if a pipe is leaking, a window blew open, or a tree came down in the yard. That’s why I decided to offer a service I always wished I had: a trusted local professional to check on things, document issues, and make sure everything is secure.
My background has taught me the importance of reliability, integrity, and trust. I believe in doing the right thing even when no one is watching — and in earning people’s trust over time through consistent, dependable service.
When clients hire me, I want them to feel relief — knowing their home is being looked after with the same care I’d give my own. Whether you’re away for a few days or a few months, I’ll make sure your property is secure, documented, and cared for.
